Children

Children and young people are always welcome.

We are always happy to welcome families and share in the joy that children and young people bring to the church.

We provide different groups in our 10:30 service for children and teenagers.

Crèche for under fours, with parental supervision including 'Little Lambs’ for the older toddlers who can take part in some stories and varied activities.  In the South Aisle room next to the main worship space.

‘The FLOK’ (Following and Loving Our King), for 4 to 11year olds in the Upper Room.

‘SW:EETS’ (Sunday Worship: Everyone Equipped to Serve), bible study, games and discussion for secondary age young people.  Held in the West Room.

Everyone gathers back together again towards the end of the service.  We welcome the children back and sometimes share what they have been doing in their groups. When the 10.30am service is a Communion Service we join together for receiving communion and a prayer of blessing.

Our Little Lights group is for parents, carers,  babies and pre-school children.  It runs weekly in the church every Thursday in term-time.

There are a range of children’s and family activities throughout the year including ACE (Activity Creativty Energy) days, Light Party, Easter and Advent craft days.

There are Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups with links to the church.
